Hobby 750 FML 2.8 JTD 2004 4 Berth Motor Home for sale

Top of the range Hobby 750 FML Luxury Motor Home in good condition with lots of extras.

Private, genuine sale, 2 owners from new (I'm the second owner), the van has only 23,000 miles (37,150 Km) on the clock. A new lady in my life means I will be moving to Thailand shortly so sadly the van has to go. It really has been an absolute joy to own and use and if my circumstances ever changed I would have no hesitation in buying exactly the same model.

The 750 FML is one of the best reviewed vans on the market. Everyone comments on the quality of the fixtures and fittings and the extremely well laid out and practical living space - you'll find many real owners singing its praises on the web ... one reviewer even described it as faultless!

(Note: I've put some links at the bottom of this page so you can read reviews but most importantly comments from real owners and experienced users which I hope you will find very useful)

Note: There are almost too many features and extras to list so if you are not sure about anything, or you just want to ask a question then please don't hesitate to phone me:

Why do people upgrade or decide to buy a 750 FML as their first van as I did?

I personally looked at over 60 different vans before I bought the Hobby 750 FML and I certainly made the right choice. It's an absolute dream to drive and a real joy to use. Brilliantly designed and extremely well engineered these super high quality German manufactured vans are in high demand, hold their value well and are generally the envy of other motor home users.

The sleek, curved lines certainly draws admiring glances everywhere you go but it's the quality of the fixtures and fitting, ease of use and the space, that really impressed me.

Space! space! space!

The 750 FML is one of the best reviewed vans on the market. Everyone comments on the quality of the fixtures and fittings and the extremely well laid out and practical living space - you'll find many real owners singing its praises and as I mentioned, one reviewer even described it as faultless! (I've put links to reviews at the foot of this page)

Storage space is second to none:

It has a total of 22 overhead cupboards so there's plenty of room for absolutely everything. It also features a good sized wardrobe, shelved cupboard and under-worktop kitchen cupboards, draws and even a double waste bin for sorting out your recycling waste etc. Plus huge under-seat storage areas and under bed storage area which has the brilliant feature of also being accessible from outside. Other campers are always amazed and jealous of the space I have.

Lounge

There's a huge lounge area where either two people can stretch out full length on the long side bench seats and watch tele in comfort, or swivel the driver and passenger seat round and at a push you can get up to 8 people round the dining table for really fun social evenings.

Kitchen

The kitchen area is probably one of the largest you will find in any van. Plenty of work top, a three burner stove, a really good sized oven and grill and everything is to hand, so it's a real pleasure preparing meals.

Sleeping

There's a super fixed rear double bed (upgraded to a Flexcell 1000 pocket luxury mattress) so it's extremely snug and comfy and there's no messing about setting up the main bed at bedtime. I'm tucked up snug and sound while other campers are still fighting with boards and seat cushions or climing precarious steps to over-cab beds!!!

It's a four berth of course so the seats in the lounge area also convert to a large double bed.

Toilet and Shower

Most vans have a "wet room" combined shower and toilet which sounds good but is a continual annoyance for van users, so another very well thought out and highly practical feature of this van is the separate shower cubicle i.e. The shower has a folding door between the shower and the toilet and wash basin. This means that when someone has a shower, you can visit the loo and wash your hands afterwards without getting your socks soaking wet through. I'm so glad I went for this one!

Awnings !!!

Experienced campers will also know that it's a real pain setting up and taking down awnings! The beauty of the 750 FML is that there's that so much space inside that you don't need an awning ! When I drive on site I am literally set up in minutes and when it comes to moving on, I'm well on my way while other campers are still struggling taking down and packing bulky, heavy awnings!

Note: The van is fitted with a huge 4m Omnistor outside sun shade which is all you really need to park your deck chairs underneath and enjoy the great outdoors. The sun shade simply winds out with a handle so you can open it and pack it away in minutes.

My conclusion:

The 750FML is a brilliant van both for short holidays or full time living, it's been an absolute joy to own and use.
